Can't think of a person who will want that job.

"You can't buy any players"
"Oh and the players you've got don't want to play for Leeds"
"Oh and any players you sell you won't get the money for to spend on others"
"Oh and we expect to qualify for Europe and reach the semi-finals of a cup"

im absolutely disgusted with the leeds board and i intend on writing a rather strong letter to them, their treatment of peter reid is absoluteley shocking.peter is one of the finest coaches this country has produced and i find it a littlew unfair to lay all the blame for the recent results at his door,he has no money to spend and the players he has just dont give a toss inmho.

Reid deserved to go. He over-achieved with Sunderland and when they started going belly up his post-game interviews were always the same "We were poor, not passion etc", the same comments he used after recent Leeds defeats. It's his job as a manager to put the passion into the game, you could see how little he cared by his appearance at the Blackburn game the following night laughing and joking with Adrian Heath, the same guy who helped him to send Sunderland down.

He's made a fortune enroute to getting Sunderland relegated and now Leeds too, the only reason they stayed up last season was that you had Sunderland (shocking), WBA (shocking) and that twazzock in charge of West Ham, plus you had Viduka and Kewell, both top class players who probably will both not be at Leeds this time next year (Kewell gone already of course).

Leeds are in a shocking state and the blame must go a large extent to the board but there were clearly other issues there (thug culture with Woodgate & Bowyer) but their current guys are no different. They sold Kewell to get 3 million cos he /might/ have left on a Bosman next season, but with him gone they are now in serious trouble with regards to relegation which will cost them a lot more than 3 million if it ends up happening.

Who cares if they go down, plenty of clubs wanting to come up. Makes life more interesting. Look at Portsmouth for example.
