Anyone know if the registrations to Game.Net and Barrysworld, and the subscriptions, are related or the same thing, or may become so ?

I.e. can I log on to game.net using my BW registration ?

GameLogon works on BW and GAME exactly the same.

GameBar currently only works on the GAME.NET site, you need BarryBar for the BW site. Theres no benefit to using both and personally I'd use the GAME.NET one as its a newer bar and the serverlist is more uptodate.

A later version of GameBar however will support both sites.

I bought one ages ago when I signed up for my BW sub, not used it since. I have no idea how it works either, whether it gives me discount or what :<

You get points when you buy stuff, and once you hit a certain level, or once a year, they post you out vouchers.

Ah, like Tesco's clubcards and stuff.

Nifty. It's a pity I don't buy any games then really.

My wife and I had around 3 Electronic Boutique reward cards between us and I went and "bought" a GAME one to get the BW subscription, then they sent me replacement GAME cards for the EB ones, so I have around 4

Before you ask, my wife got a card from buying games for my step-son, not because she's an avid gamer-chick, I wish.

There are 4 mailouts a year. 1000 points get's you a £2.50 voucher.

Example : Last mail out I got a £25 voucher. That is the most you can get in one mailout (I think). So that took 10 000 points off of my grand total.

Out of interest how does your wife view the whole gaming thing? :) I'm quite interested to see how it fits into people's lives... being 18 I don't have any "permanent" commitments heh...
