I've just got a fairly simple question here, and I'm kinda sure I've got this part right, but i want to be 100%.

Ok, here goes:

My group pulls Danos with Amnesia and we have him running to our spot where we are going to kill him. Now, if I've got this right, other people (those who are not in our group and haven't pulled him) are not allowed to hit him etc, so they are not allowed to pull him from us. If they do I have all rights to report them to GOA for breaking the CoC. Correct?

Thanks in advance.

(To the people who did this; you can go f**k yourselves. And lol @ you dying etc. So deserved. :kissit: )

As far as I know, he did not stop. Looked like their warrior ran out of the group and melee'd him - hence they got muchos aggro afterwards when our suicide puller was dead.

(var du der? ^^)

If Danos did not turn around and walk towards the encampment again, ( loose aggro ) then you had the pull.

It does not matter if the solo person couldnt handle it himself or not.
he still had aggro from his intended mob.

You can get him banned and the artifact should they have gotten him killed deleted.

We had a similar incident once with Danos, and got the response that if the mob was pulled by another group, before the first group damaged it, its not against CoC.

Arf, that's a well retarded CoC then. Guess we'll just have to dmg it shortly after pulling then. Thank you!

People could also behave themselves and let the group doing the encounter finish it. Its rather sad you have to do this encounter in such a hurry for fear another group might come by and steal it :(

No player can lay claim to an area, monster or encounter. An encounter or monster only 'belongs' to you if you have already pulled it or taken whatever other action is necessary to start the encounter. 'Camping' an encounter without actually starting it gives you no claim on it whatsoever under the Code of Conduct. If an encounter has not been started then it is free to anyone who has the wish and the ability to start it. Note that starting an encounter with a character or group that can clearly not complete it specifically to prevent others from doing so is considered abuse.

If you can’t do it its not yours. If its bug abusing to get help from guards or keep Danos's adds engaged far away from Danos is another question.
What if you see Danos and nobody else is around? He just stands at the "invisible wall" kicking the dirt. Can you kill him then?
Personally I don’t give a fuck. If there are no ppl at the mob its free imo. None there to claim it. And yes, I will get a hand from guards if it’s needed in the situation.
