Since you dont know: Midgard and Hibernia can get the hauberk too, and I dont think it will surprice anyone else if I told you that people in those realms have got it for exactly the same reasons as people in Albion has got it.

And if I understand correctly, he's still going to be able to pull mobs on himself and the proc will go off after it's patched aswell? And that part is probably working as intended since there's a downside about having mobs attacking yourself(albeit not that big in his case ).

correct, although next patch the proc will absorb most of the damage from *one* spell, and then dissappate until it procs again. Instead of lasting 10minutes and absorbing everything but crits&dots.

Funny how ppl call playing a char/class exploiting just because it get nerfed in a later patch.
So if you know that spell/style is getting nerfed in a comming patch ur a cheater for using it?

Ok so the hauberk is overpowered but so has alot in this game been.

Agree though that would be better if people didn't try and get it to proc on purpose (whichever realm). Then again seems whenever a bad bit of coding comes in people use it to get as many rps as they can. A pity, but a fact of DAOC

It's a 70%/80% or 90% resistance to EVERYTHING (depending on the realm - shaman get a 70% at 42 aug, clerics 80% at 46 enhance, druids 90% at 47 nurture)

It's focus for the cleric casting it - they can't move can't cast anything else.

The character it's cast on can move around freely (not sure on the tether range) but if they start attacking or casting the effect drops.

So, if you cast it on a high hp character and run around outside the tower the cleric is in, people run up to you and try to nuke/melee/whatever and meet 80% resistance, damage from which is easily healed by Divine Intervention or the like (which won't break focus if it's up). So, until you manage to do 3000 points of damage whilst hitting for 1/5 of your damage (effectively needing to do 15000 points of damage) you're not going to hurt that character.

Of course that char is just jumping around like a madman since they can't do anything else but you do get to have a good laugh at the other people in the tower obliterating the fools that run for you.

p.s. no more direct accusations about cheating - you can discuss whether having monsters proc your armour is cheating (even though in the recent whine case the proc wasn't used....) but name names and I nuke it - same as Radar whine. If you think someone in particular is cheating use RightNow.

Well, i got that vest, dont mind if u tell me lame.

1. The proc dont spire after 10 mins, some times i go AFK and when i come back 30 mins + it still up. But some times it expire after few mins oO
2. When u die and rel/rezz it still up.
3. It dont work with any melee damage, only magic and siegue Oo
4. It absor all damage -1 without crits. If u got high ressist it heal more.
5. Dont need pull mobs to get it procs, Guards/pets allways proc it
6. all realm can use it but... ofc albs w0n more of all realm, the alb ligth tank can use it... + DT = merc r unkilleable class. mmm 2 cleric (with Eirenes), mincer (with eirenes), pala (eirenes), sorc (NO Eirenes), pole arms (eirenes), x2 merc (Eirenes). mmmm 7 of guys on group can be inmune to magic and they got mincer ablative+som+cleric heal proc+ x2 DT+sorc RA+[...]= inmune to melee...

I see, how on earth was celinka under a shaman focus shield at her docks, didn't see a shaman anywhere near her, and doesn't that spell line cause uber power absorbtion? enough for it to fade after a few minutes? Me and another ranger were hitting her for around 5-6 minutes before we were both dead and barely reduced her hp at all.

Edo was using the Mid version of Hand of God near Bled3 on Saturday.

Levithian was getting 16(-240) for the melee part.

I have used it at tower sieges to run out and get a good GT at the trebs etc, and I have also used it to to deliberately aggro the shroom farm so others could run through a breach.

Situationally powerful, but not a bug.

It wasn't eirenes because that doesn't work on melee etc.

If it happens every time send a RightNow they might have found some dodgy way to get infinite range/power on it.

i didnt defend a bug abuse i was just trying to say that is a bug and its kinda bad and impolite flame someone who has the proc up cause programmers made this mistake.maybe Belomar you didnt understand it cause of my crap english tbh .Eirenes also had an Arogance proc which was kinda op for a soloer merc , was procing all time and absorbing large ammounts of melee dmg-they fixed that , they will fix it again.
