Ok someone please refresh my mind on this one ... I remember a discussion a while ago about the fact that Savages had access to determination. (this is NOT a savagewhine)

I think someone said :

Savage is a hybrid .. it has magic (selfbuffs) and melee ... like the paladin ... thus the paladin should have access to Det as well ... or the savage shouldn't

Then that was countered by someone saying (might have been from Sanya even) ... that the savage is not a hybrid .. as it doesn't have magic ... becuase it doesn't use a powerbar... it uses hp's to cast it's selfbuffs

Ok then why is it that my Fool's bow (that levels off non magic users) doesn't get xp from killing a savage?

Is Mythic contradicting itself... or am I confused?

(btw since most of my fights are with other stealthers... it sucks the other 2 realms can level their fools bow on 3 of the 7 stealthers ... and albion only on SB's.. but I guess other artifacts will be easier for us to level or something)

Savage is a light tank, not hybrid. Its just mythic that cant make up their mind what to classify their new classes as. Paladin is hybrid so they should not have access to det.

savage selfbuffs are placed in ability section so mythic suggests they are abilities and not spells, also providing no power bar, pala has chants that are placed in the spell window thus giving pala a power bar and making him a hybrid

nope Ixnay got nothing of you either... it's only the ones that have zero magic that I get xp from ... Was a hell of a fight though ... had to IP or I would have lost very hard.

Can someone see if this list is right please ... fools bow levels off non magic user RvR enemies... those are:

Mid:
- Berzerker
- Warrior
- Shadowblade

Hib:
- Blademaster
- Hero

The way i see it: Savage has selfbuffs, but that doesnt make it a hybrid, does it? If you compare it to the paladin, the paladin has group chants which affects every single member of the group and not only himself - like the savage buffs. To me it seems logical (altho not perfectly fair) that the savage has access to Determination RA.
