So Sepp Blatter wanted a consistent performance from the referee's this world cup, FIFA didn't want refereeing to be the talking point. Well thats gone tits up hasn't it. Giving yellow cards for every little thing does not make a good game of football.

Graham Poll giving 3 yellow cards to one player is quite funny, but the 15 (and counting) yellows so far in the holland v portugal game is appaling.

FIFA have managed to kill matches with their mandate to the referees.

That referee was awful, if he wanted to be the main talking point of the game he managed it alright, on the plus side no Deco when we face them next saturday.

The refereeing this world cup has been absolutely appalling. Some truly bad reffing with a couple of games where the result didn't suffer but quite a few where it has ( ie Japan Australia ).

That was just fucking outrageous. I'm glad the Dutch went out, mainly because they deserved to lose for being such cheating bastards, especially Robben (whiny, more dives than a u-boat captain knut), and Van Persie (ditto), but in a game with only 25 registered fouls, four sending offs? Does not compute.

Was VERY funny last night as a neutral lol- Couldnt believe what was going on and couldn't believe my luck when Deco got sent off. Bring on the yello carded Decoless Portuguese team in the Quarters!!! Come On England!
