Red faction guerilla

Finally got this to run on my comp after buying it in some steam bundle.

Waiting around corners for the solders to come, then twacking them across the room with a big hammer is massive fun!!

(still can't get the normal red faction to work though )

the online play was fun for awhile, don;t think many ppl play it anymore.

most fun i had was to plant my hammer in the head of my "brother" at the start and then read the popup

I thought the original was rubbish in comparison personally
Although it is a damn sight better than #2 which was just awful

Guerilla was fun but nothing to write home about. Interesting enough but was a pale shade of a game compared to Saboteur which I had just finished before embarking on this one.

Was it that THQ bundle? I got that too. I decided to play through all the red faction games in order; I played through the first one and it was awesome; I started playing the second one and it was shit, so I haven't even got to guerilla yet.

Its ok, I finished it which I don't do with a lot of games these days.

I think they should have stuck to the FPS element like they did in the first two. Not a huge fan of this one, seen a few friends play it.. The second I heard it wasn't FPS all my hopes dropped out of the window.

Never touched the second one, but liked the second and third ones. I kinda wish they had included an editor with 3 so we could build processor destroying cities and then blow them up. I loved the way buildings fell apart wreckage mode is fun but only lasts a min.

what did you do to get it working thro steam cause im getting stuttering and lots of crashes from it

the original red faction was amazing online, halfway through a game of ctf and there would be a million different tunnels/ways to get to the enemy flag :] being able to blow up your enviroments = win

Had a blast on it not so long back and it was still as fun, just sad to see only 100 online .
