I assume most are getting this game as it looks totally awesome. About time a good western was released eh? Multiplayer looks a blast.


I take it online reviews have an embargo in place which Rockstar seems to like doing, any idea when the online reviews will start hitting the sites?

Well I doubt, Alan Wake is crazy good and it won't take all that long to play through. This game looks like it will steal your life if the multiplayer is even 70% as good as promised.

I received my copy yesterday afternoon, i only managed an hour or so before the mrs kicked off as she wanted to watch her stories, but it's nice. The character runs a little strangely though...like the floor is hot.

It's Grand Theft Horse, but that's no bad thing.

It looks about the same as GTA4. It isn't anywhere near as bad as the Bayonetta PS3 port, so if you only have a PS3 it looks ok. Rockstar really need to get better engine programmers in.

I haven't bothered but my brother bought it.

they didnt destroy the pc ver, bugs were patched like most pc games , just that like crysis peeps didnt have the pcs capable of running it.

The singleplayer is a blast so far

The character runs a little strangely though...like the floor is hot.

Dunno what you mean, although any weird gait might be attributed to that the character has ridden on horseback alot

As a PC player, I cant imagine what aiming is like on a console, I think it´d just annoy me. I´m so tempted to buy a PS3 for this though.

I'm only judging it on what I've heard, I bought it ages ago on the PC and haven't touched it cause of all the bad news related to it. My PC can run Crysis no bother so GTA shouldn't be a problem then.

aiming is not as bad as it was in the ps2/xbox days (not that they were that long ago) it takes about a day for newbs to get used to. if it was as bad as most pc gamers think then there would not be that many peeps playing mw2 and bc2 every day on ps3/x360.


and as raven says gta4 with all the gx mods looks nothing short of stunning made the steam xmas offer even more worth it still think the bank job is the best part of the game tho

There's a big difference between Crysis, which is still the best looking game ever made, and GTA4, which tbh looks like a week-old pile of dog shit.
