Recreational use of pharmaceuticals

Not sure if this post is OK by FH rules (feel free to delete if it ain't OK), but I was wondering how many people here use pharmaceutical drugs they aren't prescribed?

I'm talking things like ritalin, modafinil, tramadol, codeine etc.

Do people not bother, just stick to alcohol and nicotine, or do illegals?

acohol works for me, can't get most stuff in Dubai anyways.

Codine is illegal in Dubai, you can get banged up if your tested and its in your bloodstream. Unless your on hols and its prescribed.

When was around 16 found a bunch of tranks in the cupboard along with all the old unused antibotics etc that had been marked "Nerves". So, had a go washing em down with wine, think they were Librium. About 4 of them and a bottle of wine and your were out of your mind, blackout, the works.

Managed to get 1/2 the sixthform kylied off em for a few weeks till my GFat the time got sick of it and flushed em down the toliet.

Probably in bad taste and a couple of years later, after a relative died from cancer found their medicaton which was an opiate and that went the same way as the nerves pills. I felt bad about it at the time, but I just wanted to try to see what it was like.

Apart from that nothing much, pills arn't much fun ingesting and hard to judge, can just hit you and knock you out or do nothing, gimme a pint anyday or mebbe 1 or 2 of the Librium with it, accepting offers.

Tramadol is some crazy shit if your unused to pills stronger than Ipren as I am
Had a really bad head/toothache about a year back, and my GF get these tramadols for her back, and she pop'ed me one!

Tried codeine a few years back when my mate got addicted (dumb ****) It wasn't particularly fun or boring, sort of just lay there feeling rather fucked, can't describe it better than that. Wouldn't bother with it again.

Ritalin was like a really really really rubbish version of cocaine. Don't even bother. I did it with a few friends. Took a girl back to mine after, she was hoovering it up like nobodys business and ending up huddled in the fetal position all night long because every time she moved it caused a searing pain in her chest. No fun for me that night and never bothered since.

Did other amphetamines shit like ketamins and it was basically the same as codeine but when i did it i was fucked on beer, weed and E so i had a whale of a time.

If you're desperate for some kicks just get some booze and an henry, much more fun than any other drugs imo.

when i threw my back out really badly they gave me vallium which was looovely, and when i broke my hand i got morphine which was also bloody loooovely... i wouldnt dare get them off prescription because they are soo nice i would merrily become a housewife junkie.

but if the opportunity ever comes along to break another bone i can't say i'd be troubled if i did

Mmmm I found my stash of dihydrocodeine the other day, left over from when I had my gall bladder pain...might give that a go one night!

I have just ordered some Modafinil from a naughty (but reliable) pharmacy site. Partly because due to lack of sleep (6 month old baby etc) I am getting really sleepy during the day, to the extent that I don't feel safe driving any more. Also it might help lift the mental fog and allow me to hold a thought for more than 8 seconds. My life is something like this at the moment...

currently i got a massive stock of tramadol, dihydrocodine and naproxin sitting on my side... not recreational, but had all 3 prescribed to me within a week.... think doctors trying to give me a tip

One of me mates was suffering from insomnia and the doc gave him some medication called Xanax /Zanax - cant remember which - they gave one hell of a wicked high so long as you fought trying to sleep.

Rohibnol was another one i used to a lot of, as it was the only way i could get to sleep when we used to go on drug nights out and do cocktails of E's Charlie and Weed.

There was this other stuff that i used to do regularly, i cant remember its same - began with a S - but man that was some wacked out shit*
