recommend a decent mp3?

I've been using a cheapo usb audio device but it's crap in every way so i want a new one.

I dont want to spend loads of money, under £100, i don't want an ipod because they aren't that good. All i really want is a fair amount of storage (20gb+ preferably) and dont want to be limited to using crappy software (itunes style) i dont care about videos, photos and all that crap.

Size and appearance arent that important, i used to have a 30gb creative vision:M and that was great until i lost it, unless i find something cheaper i think i'll grab one of those for ~£90.

After looking for a fair amount of time there seems to be a real gap in the market for a mp3 player with high capacity, not bothering with video fluff etc at a reasonable price.

I bought my GF an Sandisk this christmas, at the same time my mom bought an iPod. Needless to say i understand why you don't want an iPod (omg at the software, it should really be the benchmark in how useless something can become ). I really like the Sandisk, recommended.
