Hi everyone, i was wondering is there any problem with a reaver having a weapon proc?

would this not work with the proc buff they already have?

My appologies if this is fairly common knowledge, thanks in advance

weapon procs work differently to buff offensive procs, so you can have both and be fine :)

e.g. if you hit with leviathan it fires the leviathan style proc,
if the weapon has a proc: checks if the weapon proc fires
if you have an offensive proc buff: check if the buff proc fires

Some abilities/charges give you other offensive procs, however these will overwrite the offensive lifetap proc (the reaver one)

The reaver buff is an offensive buff, it has nothing to do with reactive procs or the kinds of procs normally found on weapons.

I'm not 100% (not having a toa'd reaver etc) but some artifact charges/procs and some item charges from toa may overwrite the castable buff, like harpy feather cloak /use 10 min buff overwrites a valewalkers disease offensive proc buff.

Hope that made sense!

Weapon/armour procs are fine for Reavers. Is especially great when you have a double proc from an ML10 weapon fire during a levi, and your proc buff fires aswell. :D

Offensive procs from artis do conflict with Debt to Arawn but are useful for when DTA drops whilst on the move and you can't stop to rebuff. Also, unless you are 50 SR, the arti offensive procs offer more bang for your buck than DTA.
