Realy sorry about tonight in Emain

I was unaware what had happened until a modurator gave me a right bollocking.I thought my pet was at bottom of amg alb side as when i cast it it appeared behind me

I told the mod i was very sorry what happened and have come onto the forum to say i am sorry what happened guys i had no idea where the pet had ended up.

I have said sorry to me guild CoA as i would do nothing to make them look bad, its posted under me alt Smallbob

I have played daoc for 1 and a half yrs now and have never parked a pet in tree etc as anyone stupid enough to do that will have screen shots posted on a forum like this and get banned

In real life i have athritis and am unable to get out much so i play this game alot and respect the other players in the 3 realms and would do nothing to spoil that or i would have nothing to do

You might flame me or call me sad but i made a mistake and was man enough to come on the forums and say sorry to the ppl i had upset

Necro has been a valued member of the guild for a long time, this i am certain was a genuine mistake and as for the person that said " i have seen him do it before, but was too busy to take screenie's" i say BS don't just try jump on the band wagon..put up proof or shut up.The guy has had the guts to come here and say sorry, more than a lot of people have done.

Yep, the pet has an extreme tendency to be inside objects it's user is on top. Climbing a staircase succesfully with a pet in tow is a challenge. Tried climbing the stairs in Barrows to Advisors tons of time only to jerk around on top for like a minute to get my pet to appear on top. Sounds genuine enough to me

I'm sure the "I thought .... " can be vaild but it can also be misused.

Just make sure - 100% sure - that it will not happen again, and I think most people will ignore past transgressions.

afaik you don't need to attach a screenie when you report a cheater to GOA. just time place name etc. find what you need on rightnow where you have to go to report the accused cheater anyway.

i cast my pet, on the side with the stairs when we were camping mmg, and i only realised it was on the other side when it got killed

Hehe in defence of Treebeard he made a character called Smokalotofweed one night when showing a friend DAoC. It was, I believe, one of those drunken occasions when he made a character just for fun. The rest is history, he went on to enjoy the character and continued playing it.

There was a complaint made about the name, by who ? well it was actually by himself He actually complained about his own name and had it changed to Treebeard.

As regards Necrobboby, he is a genuine person. He has played the game since beta and I have never known any complaint against any of his characters before. He is genuinally upset about the grief he has caused.

You might say, oh yea hes one of your guildies you would stick up for him, but CoA has had one other cheat complaint, that I know of, against one of its guild members. That person's excuse/reasons were not believed and/or supported.

Unfortunately it is bug abuse, even though it was unintentionall, and hopefully all he will receive is a warning.

i was also at amg when your pet stuck in the wall - I have to admit, however, that people tend to overreact on such issues and i can very well imagine that sometimes a necro's pet gets stuck in the wall and you just don't realise it immediately. However, i have seen a few (mostly in BG1) that intendedly abused the bug... I will never send any screenshots etc to GOA though but instead hope that people are man/woman enough to play fair
