Listen to the Rach 3, 3rd movement. Check out the massive standing ovation and round of applauses Horowitz gets. Rachmaninoff himself heard Horowitz play the 3rd concerto and he said that is exactly how he (Rachmaninoff) intended it to be played. You can't get better praise than that. Truly awesome.
