I know soundtrack albums have a poor press, but songs such as Randy Crawfords 'Streetlife' and 'Cinema Paradiso' definitely have a home in my record collection.

Can anybody suggest some really good 'sink into your sofa' soundtrack albums? Ones with no cruddy fillers.

I've been told that the Kill Bill soundtrack (extended edition for preference) is good, but I haven't tried it personally...

Kill Bill soundtrack is very good, but is most certainly not "sink into your sofa" fare.

The soundtrack from 'BladeRunner' is nice to listen to if one is in a mellow mood.

The soundtrack to The Beach is fairly mellow. Just don't watch the film!

Are these 'sink into your sofa' soundtracks tho? Most seem to be a bit lively.

If we can talk about more rocky ones then I'll mention Judgement Night soundtrack - loads of good collaborations betweeen rap & rock, just a shame the film was a bit pants.
