What's the name of the Dwarf (from the Tear of the Gods series iirc) who protects Sarth (I think thats the place). He is the only dwarf there and has a kick ass hammer.

Not sure if this is correct, but do you mean Micah the monk who protects Arutha & co from the demon that attacks Sarth? (In Silverthorn - i've not read the tears of the gods series).

hmmm, I may be combining 2 characters as Micah sounds familiar...

I remember someone with a hammer defending Sarth from a demon. Micah is listed as a human though.

I cant be 100% sure, but I was sure there was a Dwarf who lived at the Abbey in Sarth. Do you know the name of that dwarf, or am i getting confused?

He was there when Tomas was given his armor as a gift from the Dragon, and Dolgan was also given the old Dwarf King's Hammer (which was thought lost). Dwarf myth said that whoever held the hammer was King of the Dwarfs (or something along those lines).

Checked the attic yesterday, but the books are too far back in one of the boxes, so I can't verify, but Dolgan sounds good though

I honestly enjoy train delays when I'm on the train with one of his books. I cant wait to read them all in order. I will leave out the Kelewan trilogy as i've just read it.

They are a really good read, between Feist and Gemmell I have spent many hours living in the worlds they create.

I also would recommend the following books in order. Really good books, I found the first one a little slow but it really gathered pace at the end which made me needing more. Without any doubt in my mind up there with the above authors, nine of the best books I have read.
