What's the name of the Dwarf (from the Tear of the Gods series iirc) who protects Sarth (I think thats the place). He is the only dwarf there and has a kick ass hammer.
I just finished reading Servant of the Empire, the stuff he did with Janny Wurts, it's a bloody briliant series =D
There's a dwarf from Magician, Dolgan, who helped Tomas find his way out of the mines. He was there when Tomas was given his armor as a gift from the Dragon, and Dolgan was also given the old Dwarf King's Hammer (which was thought lost). Dwarf myth said that whoever held the hammer was King of the Dwarfs (or something along those lines).
They are a really good read, between Feist and Gemmell I have spent many hours living in the worlds they create.
I also would recommend the following books in order. Really good books, I found the first one a little slow but it really gathered pace at the end which made me needing more. Without any doubt in my mind up there with the above authors, nine of the best books I have read.
The Farseer Trilogy (Robin Hobb)
Assassin's Apprentice
Royal Assassin
Assassin's Quest
The Liveship Traders Trilogy (Robin Hobb)
Ship of Magic
The Mad Ship
Ship of Destiny
The Tawny Man Trilogy (Robin Hobb)
Fool's Errand
Golden Fool
Fool's Fate
I've heard of this Robin Hobb a few times. I also was informed by several Feist fans that Katherine Kerr has written some great books.
