RATM reforming

A one off, apparently, at Coachella festival in America.

I'm actually sorely tempted. Anyone heard of this festival before?

I doubt that, since Audioslave doesn't really seem to be floundering. Though I'm not convinced Audioslave will be continuing much longer.

It looks like a pretty big festival, 3 days, Rage Against the Machine, Bjork, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sonic Youth etc etc. $250, but you've got to get to LA.

Why not? It'd suck if Audioslave split up, they're one of the few current bands I can actually stomach. In fact I'd rather Audioslave stuck together and RATM never reformed. Nothing against RATM obviously they were awesome, just I think Audioslave are better. Doesn't Remind Me is quite possibly one of the top 10 greatest songs of all time.

As I heard it, they postponed their tour to finish their album, now the album is finished and still no tour is on the horizon, not to mention RATM reforming for a one off and Chris Cornell continuing work on solo material. Hey, I'm not pretending to be an expert and I could very well be exceedingly wrong or misinformed, I'm just hunching.

Well, RATM was very political, and not just Zak, while Chris Cornell is very against politics in his songs from what I have heard. I'm not sure now well they would be getting on if this was a source of arguments. Then again, money is a very good medicine.

Audioslave do suck ass though. RATM and Soundgarden were both far better.

Nuh-uh, Number 1 Zero ftw. And they've gone a bit christian on the new album, Audioslave and Out of Exile are much more to my liking.

They were gigging last year. I've only really enjoyed 'the woods' and I missed my only chance to see them live.

Now soundgarden reforming would make me produce buckets of lovejuice in my pants... Not going to happen though. I love Chris Cornell, but every album he makes gets worse and worse from Badmotorfinger onwards.. Although i still love the first audioslave album.

Cornell's voice just makes me cringe.

Now RATM make me jis, Freedom is right up there with one of the best songs ever written (in my book).
