RA's for chanters?

Hi all

I expect to begin RvR'ing some time in the close future.

Now... Knowing that I'll own all those pesky albs/mids , I'd like to know where I, as a chanter, should spend my Realm Points.

I already have MCL, such a cool ability

Also... Is there a limit to how many Realm Ability Points you can get?

get moc (14rsp and aug acuity 3 pre req) + baod asap (also 14pts)

don't listen to Storm yet

Stick with mcl, get augmented acuity II , then get Serenity, Mastery of Magery and Wild Power all to lvl 2, then maybe experiment with some other passive RAs... untill you hit like R4L8 when you can respec to baod and moc, und then get those passive RAs again.
The point is that those two active RAs are very great, but the worst thing you can do is not spending your points on something usefull untill you have enough RSPs for the 2 big ones.

You do, every character has 2 free realm respecs upon creation

Couldnt agree with this more.

Is BAOD gonna be nerfed? I heard it was supposed to be chanter only and they where planning to fix it...

personally im saving for raging power atm

more of a pve chanter, so moc/baod isnt so important for me really the 2/3rds bar from mcl2 and whole in-combat bar from raging power be nice though

Most of the above is assuming the guys mana specced.

I started light and even tho Mythic in there infinate wisdom are trying to force everyone down the mana line I wont be told what to specc.

For light-> MCL-> AA -> MOM- > WP -> ->MOTA -> AOM-> the rest made up with passive RA's

Works for me

Well the description does say:

"Your character receives a 30 second boost to all magical resistances"

Not "Your group receives a 60 second ridiculously huge boost to all magical resistances"
