I have a rr4 infil playing in a full SC'd suit (not epic - never even finished my epic quest, just got the ring for when its buffed in 1.63/4)

I chose not to post ant of the chars i play - for reasons stated many times previously.

Driwen, yes the majority of the time I'm not buffed and I'm a strong proponent of the removal of buffbots. However th Af buff is cancelled out by SB permahaste and conc based haste allowing them to cap speed with very slow weapons.

And rollie - I'm not evading any questions. You'll notice answers have been given, some you may not like. But to take one (the highest rr active infil) and use this as a basis for an argument has so many weaknesses that even a complete moron (why hello nalistah) can see them.

As I have said, time and time and time again. If you want to whine about infils/Df/the cat - fine. If you have your own opinions - fine. If you want changes get proof and post them to mythic.

Hmm couple of threads back I asked Jaond and any other member of RG if you were this stupid and gullible ingame. Despite asking repeatedly over the course of the thread not member of RG either leapt to your defence or said no.

Remi is 1, Elajt is 2 and Pin is 7. All 3 of them would be good candidates to discuss the whole DF thing, as I think none of them are really biased and some have experience from playing other realms stealthers.

If we applied your logic, SB's would have never been nerfed.

Well they would, as the error was known of prior to complaints. Then people started noticing a problem, and then (and this is the part that escapes the less bright SB players - why hello again nalistah) the tests and logs were submitted to mythic who took action.

Now if there are people who think something is wrong should they:

A) Whine incessantly on a board mythic knows nothing about
B) Whine incessantly on a board mythic deliberately (and very publically) withdrew from
C) get some proof and post it to mythic

Incidentally if you look at what Elajt said it was alon the lines of 'makes the rps come in faster' - now this phrase can be applied to many things: permahaste, buffbots, stealthgrouping. What wasn't said was anything to do with what Rollie was proposing - that DF was overpowered. He merely chose to interpret it to fit his agenda.

the amount of SB's that have conc based haste speed can be counted on one hand and the perma haste has also the draw back that the off hand variance is determined by LA spec. So no Af buff does give infils an advantage as almost no one has conc based haste and perma haste is indeed nice, but LA also has it draw backs.

The logs were not submitted to mythic, they were submitted on VNboards prior to mythic withdrawing from them.

Before LA nerf you would find:

1. Infils moaning and whining on BW forums about LA
2. Infils whining and moaning on VNboards
3. I don't need to get anything, I am not the one defending infils, I am merely pointing out that 6 months ago it was infil's whining and bitching. They were postying movies, game logs and images on the vnboards, they did nothing different to what SB's are doing now.

Except LA was a known programming error and the logs backed it up (plus they were posted in to mythic and tested on Pendragon as well as going on vn).

When the SBs start doing what i've been asking for all along and start getting data and posting it to mythic THEN we'll see what the situation.

We go round and round and still it comes back to the same thing. LA nerf was justified and backed up. Tests.

ie. 50-100 fights equal spec infil/sb/ns (combo all 3) no styles,
50-100 fights controlled styles, 50-100 fights freestyle.

Repeat for varied specs/ra setups.
Repeat as buffed/unbuffed.

Analyse stats for disparities.

Tbh this will be the last time i reply to you cause for one i refuse to discuss game balance with people who wont disclose there char they are basing all there assuptions and facts on, also there can be very few things that phrase can be applied too, my question was directly about DF and the answer was simple:

To your credit that looks like the whole log, but I don't think it shows what you think it does.

Elajt mentions a few exceptional examples where df turned the fight, and elajt uses df after stun because of the 50 th/dw template (no hamstring - hamstring outdamages df). Notice elajt says a similar thing to what I did - basically it depends. There are notable circumstances where it turns the fight. Notice again s/he is being very candid and honest - its a good style, but the key there is the comment about perception. It is less relied upon and turns the fight a lot less than others believe.

This is partly the reason I bang on about proof and argue against ill informed and stupid posts. SB feel they are weaker than other assassins, but fixate on DF. Hypothetically assume DF is not there - does this help SBs? DF is not their problem, and is definitely not a problem for realm balance.

Now its a shame you don't want to discuss this becase you seem reasonable and fairly intelligent - and trust me there are precious few posters like that on these boards (Driwen and Haldar have made good points) as most range from the reactionery and ill informed to just plain out and out thick as pigshit (why hello again nalistah).

he was crit spec and sala who is a rr9 sb landed PA on him, he stood sala landed cd and elajt purged it and landed Df and stripped sala of 2k of HP, and you still question Df after that log from a very credable source?

Sorry poopy but you have been proved wrong and no amount of picking can deny the fact that DF is indeed overpowered when if he evades the first SB hit and lands DF if both hands swing which he says is 93%? chance he can maybe strip 100% of there hp, otherwise the SB could instantly be down 60%-70% of his hp.

Did you notice me ask on 2 occasions about landing DF on a sb with no purge? what was the chances of them surviving? i think the log says it all.
