Just wanted to post my new ranger template on here, i didn't aim to have anything uber, and i already have ALL the items required for it and all the artifacts, only missing sc. Also wanted to try something different to battler/malice combo and thanks to lal I have an uber blade to use.

My main focus in this temp was high resists, and bar energy/crush i've done this quite well imo. Dex stat is completely passive from items rather than from crafted sc, the stat caps are nothing special and i could use more CD. But for now its better than what i have atm

Anyhow, any suggestions for changes that would be advantageous without spending loads of cash?

Oh and the poc blade, people say its bugged, whats that all about?

And if you are hybrid that means you will probably take part in sieges
With 7 crush scouts are gonna love you. And Sun Spear Hunters for that matter.

The PoC blade doesnt debuff a flat 20 ABS
it debuffs 20% of the targets ABS, was using the rapier on my vamp for a bit, its really isnt all that hot tbh. But people assume that it debuffs their targets ABS by 20, thats why teh rumour started it was bugged afaik.
If you aint gonna use malice, the only real reason to go blades as a stealther, at least go heat/cold blade and switch mainhand/2-hand slot according to target, your damage output will be so much better that way

Uhhh naff... your template has A LOT of holes sorry to say

- The max cap is 101 on your stats, getting 109 and 157 is just a waste of good utility points.
- You only have 11 dex cap and 13 str cap so you could actually only get 76/78.
- 200 hits is a bit low, you'd want 300+ for melee purpose.
- Energy resist doesn't matter much unless you come across some rare bots summons. However crush is quite vital since you already suffer 10% from rf armour. Mercs hits hard enough already.
- You state yourself you need more cd... that's all there is to it really

It is.

- You need CTD, because Bladeshadow is a summon from it.
- I'd probably try and pack in a pair of leggies, or GS/BMF/PB.
- You have a lot of dex cap in temp your not using, you really should try and take advantage of that.
- Why do you hate crush resist so much?

and guys what im aiming to do is use my current gear with new sc to have a nice template, not to make the best template in the world. I'll gradually build up an uber one when i can be arsed. The likelyhood is ill stop playing sometime early next year so don't want to spend 200p on new stuff if i wont use it

bmf+blade shadow ftw. Cap piercing/cd/stealth skill, sort matter and crush and cap your stats. A few more hits and maybe some AF wont hurt either.

With a leggy equiped you should get the full advantage of the dex cap
I ran with bladeshadow offhand heat/cold/spirit mainhand when I was pierce
It's a nice setup, heat and cold for most folks and spirit handy for those mids that still have heat/cold resist buffs up when you meet them.

Now just go buy 10 of each type of leggy and pre-poision them, its cheap and dirty I know, but you're a rogue, not a paladin.
And try to get a band of stars, fairly good resists on it, with nice cap increases. You'll loose a little from the loss of the ebonhide, but with mos3 there is no better way to start a fight against an assassin thats inc to perf you than to /use2 the BoS on him.
Debuffing their stats before the fight starts with the spraggonator charge and popping them outta stealth before they can perf you is great.
It's also very handy when rooted by casters/their pets to interupt their casting, it's saved my life more times than I can count.
