i go full spec points quickness and full bow.

you go full spec in dex and full bow

dont worry about speccing other points there is no poiunt. we use the /20 gear and free twigs i mean arrows

gotta get my bro from work 2nite at 8pm, and if i dont go to the gym will pop down after that, we do on hib excal btw, to save gettin annoyed gettin PKed

i recon we shud try get some +dex and + quickness items too, just to try and show the difference. plus i'd like to see a + dex compared to a no +'s at all aswell.

nah tsabo pendragon is a test server you copy your char to and then once you ruined it you go back to mordred and its fine.

we got one on euro but its for the admins and dev's etc, us low lifes dont get to use it i think

Take my word for it i have practice at this,
factors which affect bow damage are: quality of bow,dps,dex,bow skill
factors which affect draw time are: quickness
theory:
you do the same damage per shot with a draw time of 4 sec as you do with a draw time of 2 sec (assuming you can get quickness up without changing dex or weapon)

i agree about the dmg not changing from draw speed i.e. quikness. you just merely shoot faster which is gr8 as your dmg in the time period is more as you do more shots

what im still not 100% on is the dex increasing dmg. does the dex affect won skill which may inturn affect dmg?

with a lvl 20 base dex pot i hit for about 10-20% extra damage

Well not really, a ranger with 0 dex and a ranger with 350 dex still have the same Damage Cap, high dex just means you're more likely to "roll" a higher hit close to that cap. Higher Dex also adds to weapon skill so you're more likely to hit the target too.
A 0 dex ranger and a 350 dex ranger could both theoretically hit the same target for the same damage.

Hit a grey target without your dex potion and then hit it with your dex potion, you'll hit for exactly the same amount of damage (i.e. your cap).

so teh dex is more like for instance slash and useing 2hand to get the dmg variance as high as possible.

so really if you do what i mentioned about higher quickness the shots may be more vaired in dmg but the extra hits would more than make up for it

That may not work.... you may get extra shots in but your weapon skill will be lower so the shots are more likely to miss, but on Camlann I don't seem to have a problem ever missing in PvP. I think they changed something, at 30 I killed a level 50 Infiltrator all three shots hit[1]. On Excalibur a 50 Infiltrator would evade most of my Hunters [level 50] shots (both of us buffed.).

[1] He had about 15hp left after a fight and was trying to restealth, I hit him with three shots (for about 5hp each) and killed him... he was very pissed at me and said some very unpleasent things about me, about leaching, about chaining and about my Mom, I laughed all the way to my trainer

But why cap just ur quickness or dex, when you coudl cap them both and get the best variance and fastest draw speed

Yes thoeretically a max dex and max quickness cud possibly be equal, but then the 3rd luwi with capped dex and quick is gonna pwn ya both tbh
