I guess I've always known about this but its something we could really use Mythic getting sorted.
When its attacking an enemy, a pet with ranged attacks will just stand there dumbly reporting its target is out of sight, rather than attempting to either move closer or into a position where it can see the enemy. If I summon Hudson as Ruby, he's only really any use in open field. At keeps he just looks mournfully at the wall of a keep when the door is wide open and complains he can't see his target, instead of running inside like a good little sim and having a crack at splatting the enemy.
Its not a problem with non ranged pets as they just go find the shortest route (well usually shortest) to the target and have a good thwack. Ranged pets seem to just stand there and cry a lot in the system window.
With NF looming and especially because a lot of the action is going to be in and around keeps I was wondering if anyone knows if this problem gets sorted or if its something that should be passed to the cabby TL <cough> to get sorted out.
