First Blood will always be the only Rambo film worth anything.

Awesome film if you are the sort of person that watches one for entertainment rather than trying to find a hidden meaning :) virtually no story or plot but loads of violence :)

I will always laugh at the bit in the third one where he rams a helicopter with a tank! :D

First blood was great, the books were better in a way though imo, he actually killed the cops chasing him in that, and teasle wasnt as much of a complete bumbling twat as he was in the films.

Want to go and see this fourth one though, hopefully it wont be so crazy.

Yep did the same and have to agree, Rambo was basic but brutal action. Jumper was a bit light on dialogue in a few areas but the visuals were great and the plot could grow into something much more complex if they create the anticipated sequels.

I liked it for a basic action flick. Living in Burma myself, it's not the sort of film you'll ever see on the shelves - something like a 14yr jail term if you're caught selling it. Heard this morning some anti-government mob are hanging free copies from "doorbells" at night, which made me titter...Seems old sly timed this one right to coincide with the uprising in September - got far more media attention than it normally would have i bet.

Best quote of the film being banned here:

"Stallone said that Burmese police are halting shop vendors selling pirate dvd copies of the movie"

Which is a good thing...right? i mean piracy and all...... :)

It was incredibly graphic, but I didn't feel it was glorified. Quite an enjoyable watch, although it had no substance at all.
