Apparently this is supposed to be really violent

Something like 300 deaths, averaging out at 1 every 3 seconds (or something like that - anyway, a high body count)

Some critics have expressed their displeasure with the amount of violence and lack of a good plot.

LOL

Trying to remember Jonathon Ross from last night.... as he done the stats from all 4 films..

ie first film Rambo killed 1 person and that was after something like 50minutes of the film.

in this one it was something like 236 kills by rambo (loads by other people too mind you), first kill, after 3minutes. Average of a kill every 23 seconds I think.

And yes, it very violent, very graphic in the deaths as well. A scene where he guts someone made me laugh.

I was very impressed when I saw this film last week, and would greatly encourage people to go see it. Definately a worth while film.

p.s. is it called John Rambo in Britain? Goes by various names worldwide but think that is what they decided for here in the end.

Not that I can think of from the top of my head.

They're really good pals in real life. I'm sure it must have been discussed over the last 20 years, the pair of them working together on some mad action movie...meh, never mind.....

Aye, they've been taking the "piss" out of eachother in almost every semi-funny movie, like "president schwarzenegger"(ironic) in demolition man, and Stallone as terminator in last action hero, or some such.

They never did a movie together, but i would rock. Like, old men going to war or some such. Space Cowboys style?

Anyway, about Rambo, critics know sh*t all as it seems:

High bodycount, violence, lack of plot...it's f*cking rambo!

Imagine the carnage if you had Rambo & "Dutch" from Predator together.

*Arnie walks into the jungle with a helicopter canon over his shoulder, cigar in mouth*
Rambo: "Where are you off to"
Dutch: "Relax, I've done this before. You take out the nest, I'll hit their fuel tank...Oh, and I'll be back"

Now they need to go back and have a 'Final Blood' set in the States where John Rambo dies, end the story properly.

hehehe i still cant help thinking of that bit in the simpsons where they have charles bronson in eath Wish 12 (or something) and he's in a hospital bed hooked up to tubes about 120 yrs old and he's like "Oy I wish I was dead" every time these old dudes make an action film.

Its still nice to see though, i dred the day when all my childhood heros are wearing nappies and dribbling in to their pureed peas :(

Wish it had more plot, like the first two rambo movies. And thus making it longer. It ends too fast >;

Saw it.

Have to say, taking into consideration the hype, the wait and the absolute little kid like anticipation that came with this movie, i'm a bit disapointed.

And then i could take a trip down to laalaa land and eat cookiedough all day long with the pink ponies that are my bestest friends. Luckily i don't do lies.

It was, wait for it...

Hmm, thats not how I took what he said. To me it seemed he was happy to close of Rocky movies in the way he did as the previous movie was so god damn appalling he needed better closure. However he wouldnt make another Rocky movie, whereas when it comes to Rambo he be happy to make more :)

erm no it isnt..

mik said stallone said rocky was a mistake to make. I saying that not what he said and it was the previous (ie NOT Rocky Balboa but the one before) that he said was bad. Thus Rocky balboa was good to make but he would not make another now.
