Raiders of Lost Artifacts
Meeting is at Aerus (Pryd) at 7 PM UMT (8 PM CET)
BG will be on Teague.
Rules
- Artifacts are done as requested by people
- we don't go back to try a particular artifact the same day
- nobody pm's me for an artifact request
- This is a team job - you do as I say ! (with thanks to Michael Caine)
- arti hunts are a weekly event
- drops with 99% and MP qua and high utility jewelry will get lottoed
- anyone can roll and win one item until everyone got at least one item
- groups will be made by me (save to say we normally need a tank and a caster group)
How to make a request
As we go through the hunt I will request a /random 1000 from everyone looking for an artifact.
Every attendance will result in a +50 bonus to this roll.
I reserve the right to put a penalty on people who pester me.
The top three rollers will then announce their artifacts - keep in mind the capability of the BG of that night. If we fail, an eventual bonus is gone.
The attendance bonus will roll over to the next raid if not used.
To give a simple example:
Our little Celt Shaun has attended two raids so far and had no luck with his randoms. On the third he rolls 901 and with his +100 bonus that makes 1001.
He then requests Eriny's Charm.
So we all loiter to Typhoon's Reach and try it.
Eventually due to timing we fail.
We then move on to the next artifact.
At the next raid Shaun has no bonus but rolls a 1000 (yes, he is a lucky git sometimes) and again requests Eriny's Charm.
So again we loiter to Typhoon's Reach and this time we make it.
Leftovers (consider these people with +1000 bonus)
Other than these people we will have no queue once they got their artifact.

From last raid:
Landra, Ambroz, Tinyblade, Silvereyes, Rjanmist, Tualatin, Cojak, Laraxgray, Alexwalker, Topilzin, Seneca, Wham, Killder
I hope that this system is more appealing to players. Our main problem is that for certain encounters we must have a certain number of people and classes.
Yes, I am aware that some people will still be unlucky enough to not get an artifact this way but overall it is fairer to everyone with a fresh start on each raid night with a bonus for the ones attending.
