As a lawyer I have read the CoC through now many times when people have complained about breaches or perceived breaches. I have now just read it again and nowhere does it mention anything about alliances between Realms or Guilds/Members of realms allying against a third party being against the CoC.

However, I am now starting to check US sources and will see what IF ANYTHING Mythic have posted on this.

This said...I am sure that just like with the organised duelling issue Mythic and GOA will have *A view* on this and I doubt that view would be a favourable one but at this time it is NOT against the CoC.

I myself can point to MANY instances in Mid frontier when Mids have been facing Albs at one MileGate only to be ganked severely by Hibs from behind and then the Albs charge...result....A lot of dead Mids. Oh my God its a conspiracy, Hibs and Albs are Allied against us! They must have prearranged this on IRC the swines! Maybe I should take loads of screenies and whine *Kemor...Kemor pleeeeeeeeeeeeease tell these naughty people off for killing me so quickly, waaaaaaaaaaaa* or maybe just /release and come back to kill some more? Oh??? What now? Albs and Hibs fighting each other...eh?? Some Alliance that was!

If this thread wasnt so funny it would be the saddest thread EVER on these forums.

In the seven months Ive been playing DAoC in Midgard I have NEVER seen any instance of an Alliance (Formal or otherwise) between Mid and Alb tho Ive never been to BGs so I cant comment on anything that happens there. Although from reading posts here it is now apparent that there was at least an informal *arrangement* between Hib and Alb!! If such a thing were to happen between Alb/Mid I would suggest that the vast majority of Mids would be outraged at those who were so Allied. And I assume so would the majority of Albs.

Heres a little quote from Patch 1.49 Release Notes:

Please...send in your screenies and your report, then come back here and apologise IF (as I suspect will be the case,) your accusation is found to be baseless and without sanction.

People are "upset" over the tone you take, this "holier than thou" attitude. Your accusations are baseless and quite ludicrous.

In RvR you attack the enemy -- if he is busy fighting the other realm then you just pile in the rear and get some nice easy realm points. Nothing to do with conspiracy theories, just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

It's happened to groups I've been in --- been fighting the Mids and a group of Hibs piles into us from behind and kills us. Conspiracy? Screenshots? Chat logs? Give us a break. Retard alert!!

This kinda banter is ok in-game but snap out of the roleplaying if you try to make a point. And belittling people gets you nowhere, other than now you have convinced me that you are incable of speaking your mind without calling someone "little man" - smacks of a nice little inferiority complex there. I'm sure Hibernia is a great realm. Undoubtably you can conduct a war effort from time to time.

My point being: getting so worked up about it gets other people worked up, and we end up with an argument instead of a discussion. If you want people to take what you have to say seriously this isnt the right aproach.

Btw to the Thidranki albs and mids: try to not play together against hibernia, its a nooob thing and i m kinda annoyed seeing albs and mids rush on us then each of them retreats and waits. And it happened too many times imo... (I'm not talking about the infis that are attacking us while we are fighting the mids [usually they attack us only, dunno why ] couse that is ok.)
