Radio 1 sucks

The chart is bullshit, No1 Affrotwat, because I got high, why? Because its a good song? No. Because of the high single sales? No. Because the music industry is a load of bollocks and the record company paid Radio 1 and numerous other stations tons of cash to play it three times an hour (and yes they did)? yes thats about right.

As I mentioned in a previous post (read it and you'll understand why the drug reference pisses me off) some songs have been given no air time compared to this. My personal favourite in the chart at the moment has to be Linkin Park in the end, I've heard that song played about 4 times approx since it was released, and no kidding Affro-twat has been played on radio 1 more than 4 times today! I work a 50 hour week and listen to the radio about 80% of that time while I'm working. And songs by bands such as Linkin park, sum 41, Blink 182 all write their own songs, play their own instruments and generaly put a lot more effort into their songs than some American druggie who would probably try to crumble a guitar into a yogurt and eat it let alone play it.

Sorry about the rant but I'm very anti drugs and I can give you several reasons why.

the shows where the dj's pick the tracks ( danny rampling, seb fontaine, westwood, grooverider, etc. ) are pretty sweet.

At work we genit bollox a long time ago.

There's something about listening to the same 10 tracks there pushing in the charts, everyday repeated 3-4 times during the working day, mixed in with tracks they previously played 3-4 times a day 3-4 months before

A song is a song, some ppl like it, others dont. Radio1 is a different style to you thats all.

If you dont like the station dont listen to it there's plenty others that would have the music you'd like.

Um, no... thats not what's been hit on. Its the fact they play chart-driven music in the daytime alot more than non-commercialised music, no matter what the style.
But then again, the commercial tracks are what the nation likes, and R1 use them to keep hits up, so their higher-quality shows like the LDGP, seb fontaine, F&GR etc. can get more advertisement and listener attention.
There's no argument involved really...

Well Kez is a druggie, that explains a lot doesn't it. So Kez how many friends have you had start off with cannabis and got so hooked up on it that it didn't effect them after a while and so turned to hard drugs, the ones that make you so unsociable that they have to hang around with other druggies so that they fit in, then one day get a bad hit and spend the last few hours of their life on a ventilator. Also you should see the story of my friend raped on the beach and left to die. You would then understand my hatred for drugs like canabis, coz I don't care what anybody says, they are addictive.

Ignus what do you think of smoking? Alot of the people i know who smoke cannabis did it for a while then stopped and dont do any hard drugs at all.

I listen to moyles and sometimes mark and lard in the day if I'm in, and @ weekends i av on tong for a while (sometimes), occasionally jules (even tho he's shit, sometimes he plays ok tunes), sometimes seb, on fridays i ALWAYS play fabio/grooverider (best show on rad 1), and sunday nite dreeeeem teeeeeeeeem innit

No he was a 14 year old boy. And he died in possibly the worst way, death was caused by asphixiation, his head was pushed so hard into the sand that he actually inhaled it and suffocated. Imagine that while being raped by a 25 year old man. And yes he was a druggie, he used drugs as an excuse to get him to the beach.

I don't think much to smoking. I don't mind my friends who use canabis only on social occasions as if it were drink, but there are too many people who smoke more spliffs than most people smoke cigarettes in a day. Ive never met someone who does this that hasn't gone onto hard stuff, a school friend of mine who vowed never to take pills recently decided that spliffs weren't doing it for him anymore so he started popping pills, now his only friends are druggies, his family hates him and the people he hangs around with. It won't be long now.

And the radio station i listen to (94.5 the Buzz) kicks arse. In fact i got tickets from them to go to Tool and then i am going to Buzzfest in November(this is their second buzzfest this year normally they have it once a year and i have gone to everyone since i moved to h-town)
