Hello 
I guess i should post system specs 1st
Intel P4 "Prescott" 3.0 ghz
Gigabyte G8-KNXP
1GB (2x512 Matched Pair) Corsair somethingorother DDR 400 memory
Windows XP
2x 80gb Maxtor HDs (1 is ide other is SATA)
Well it started last night , i had to reboot to remove my old harddrive (had been copying files from it then formatted it) , everything looked normal till i got to the stage where the windows log on screen pops up.But thats the problem it didnt pop up , the PC just rebooted , it did this 5x times (i tried incase it was just a one off , or 4 off )
I finally managed to log in using safe mode and i got a pop up saying Possible Device Failure and it said the radeon 9600XT was causing system instabilty and the drivers failed to do a drawing operation.
Now i thought id try some different drivers , i downloaded 7 different sets yet all of them give me the same problem (a few of them actually booted for the 1st time after initial install then didnt work after that).
The card is only 6 months old and ive sent all this info off to the manufacturer but im wondering if the card is actually broke or is it something else?
I know there could be alot of different answers but im just trying to see if anyone has any idea what it could be (if the card isnt actually faulty).
