Aye, celebrity gets you a 'get off scot free card', provided you can bribe someone discreetly.

Whats worse, he'll probably make another studio album now. 60 billion bullets in the world, and he lives in a country where guns are freely available, and he's black. 50 cent got shot, why not R Kelly?

To be fair, there was indications that

1) It was not R.Kelly on the tape
2) It was not the alleged girl on the tape

Those 2 was backed up by a missing mole on the back (1), relative saying they couldn't recognize the girl (2), the girl saying it wasn't her (2), R.Kelly saying it wasn't him (1).
And apperently a jury consisting of 12 people all agreed that they could not beyond reasonable doubt say that it was R.Kelly and the alleged girl on the tape.

So who are we to judge and say that we know it was him, unless we got a piece of evidence which was missing in the case?

It might have been him and the girl, BUT as long as there are indications that it is not and that it can't be proven beyond reasonable doubt that it was, a person is innocent in our system, whatever he/she is a celebrity or not.

If someone else was charged with the same kind of crime and was let go due to same kind of reasonable doubt, I don't think people would go around judging it as being him.

R.Kelly was charged, but was not found guilty. Doesn't mean he is innocent, he might have done it and gotten away with it, but we don't know and I don't think we should sit here and let jalousi about celebrity status or something else make us judge him guilty when the evidence clearly is not supporting that story entirely
