Watching the herald could not avoid to notice there are a few guilds with a great history in our Realm that are totally dead.

I know that GOA sometimes cleans the guild rosters from databases and heralds to create space for new guilds.

That is why I was wondering/asking if is the time to clean the herald from some of them and leave them, loved or hated, rest in the memory of us all.

Just a few I noticed:

Vigilance, Dark Order, Ithil Galad, Amicitiae Renatus, Lliad Ddraig, Armiger et Dementis, Tuatha de Dannan....

Some are totaly dead, some have a few RPs but not more GMs, some have a few low levels chars left in.

I am not sure about every one of them, but for a few I think that canceling and letting them rest in peace would be a form of respect....

Excuse me but if ANYONe dare to delete Tuatha de Dannan I will go berzerk! I still have a Gm left for when I will have time to play fully again I am thinking of some day startp playing there agian, maybe even rebuild it if it would be worth it, but I will never let TDD die, I know I have seen some old old TDD players logged on that are still in tuatha and I dont think they would be very pleased if they logged on someday and the guild was gone, I know I wouldn't

Um I'm still an active character (and GM) in Amicitiae Renatus, and there are quite a few people with alts still in the guild. I'd rather not have my guild disbanded arbitrarily thanks all the same.

I have a lowbie chanter still in Vigilance, unfortunately not a gm though. Not sure if there is even a gm in there anymore as the GM's were Cadwyr and Diabien (both left the guild).

Shame to delete/remove those old names if you ask me.
I think its a bigger honor to keep them in XML instead of deleting them. Then they are doomed to be forgotten

vigilance should be a safe one to delete .. we are capped in guilds atm so wouldnt be any harm ..there is no gm afaik ..its just there .

and I dont think Diabien is gonna come back to reclaim any time soon
