I think Its the other way round, its the fully opted High Realm rank groups that drive the playstyle! Many times I have seen people trying to Run Pugs,
or even small groups of 3 to 5 players, who constantly get ganked by the uber groups. I believe that this is why people end up joining a Zerg.

I put that in specifically Muy, because I realise that many players do play with a bit of sympathy to others, even those who arnt into parity play so much. I really wanst referring to you directly - that why I wasnt particularly bothered about the thread specifics, but was making a more general point ive made before.

Not been head to head with you much in game recently, so wasnt meaning to imply (correctly or incorrectly!) that you had no sympathy for other players who may be soloing or whatever.

I play dirty vs most casters and adders/zergers they know why i do it and they should shute fuck up.

and about untemplated reaver: most of albs run out with no template or decent spec and all they do is sticking to zerg and f8 + attack so i dont mind killing any of em if theyr solo or behind from the zerg. Only grey con albs can go safe.

Think those days have long gone when the elite groups ruled the roost. Though you do make a good point of discussion that a few highly skilled high realm rank mid groups are currently contributing to the continuing demise of 8v8 play by never letting the young groups get a look in. Elite groups being out never used to be a problem, because there would be enough other groups that you took the losses with the wins.

As to them running over small groups - well ive not got too much sympathy in that instance - they take the rough with the smooth.

From my personal pov, I like it that there are a couple of excellent groups still running - it gives people something to aim to beat - but I can appreciate how demoralising it can be.

Youve played a caster and a cleric... if you get into soloing you will quickly pick up that it pays to be nice to the peeps and you will learn who the respectfull peeps are quickly....

Eul is one of the good guys...

your caster "was" one of the bad guys... ie the random chain adder with zero respect for anything...

if you get into your reaver you will start to appreciate the game a bit more and learn some things about other players that you never got to learn on a "zerg surfer" (@copyright brite 2007) caster...

I know wich players i should add and those who i shouldnt from previous experiences, i found that most "respectable" players are hib stealhers and co. I cant name one single mid player i wouldnt add.

We have to be realistic about this, im not gonna stop group everytime i see a soloer and see who´s name is that. Ofc when im on my own char and on soloers ground like ocasus i will.
Like i said few little players will not get added by me while not in group, You, Tuthmes, Eble/Mayet, Athrun ( since last night fight ) and some others names dont pop in mind atm.

Reminds me that today i was in group and asked not to kill Eble, yet they killed him. at second time they just mezzed him and left him alone. Its not that easy to see who is who when enemy players are swarming all around and you have 7 other ppl that like you arent looking at who is who.
