It's not really fair. Quincy is obviously the best/stronger character, though he should let Sam have some time off, but I also wish Mark Sloane was my grandad or a close friend - don't care so much for his son, Steve; he was better in that one-off TV film of Battlestar Galactica.

P.S. Option three is a bit by the by as Quincy is a coroner so it's his job to investigate deaths, and even Mark Sloane kind of officially works with the police.
