Quick question about bounty points

I remember a post from a few months ago saying that Mythic were looking at either making bounty points exchangable for cash or more useful items than the current BP items. Did anything ever come of that or was it just pure speculation?

Im pretty sure im right in saying you can pay for house rent with guild/self Bounty points.

Correct me if im wrong ? :]

guild bp yes, not your own bp if im not completely wrong.

I thought Snoz was right, and you could pay rent with your own bounty points, at least I hope I read it right, I think it was on camelotherald.
