Quick Android Question.

Hi,

Ive got an app i need to install on my hero, its a ".CLS" file (java i think?)

and just wondered if theres anyway to open it up on my hero?

Use the HTC sync ap from your pc to install non-marketplace apps on to the hero, also go to settings->applications and check the "unknown sources" box.

The file im trying to install was sent to me via a sms from the company, shall i move that onto my pc itself and then install it from the sync software?

Hmm.... try from the HTC syn on your pc, it should let you install the file if you know the location of it on the phone.

Have you tried running the file direct from the sms and seeing what happens?

Running it from the location the sms saved it to gives me this error "file type cls not found"
