Running unstealthed from mb to Agramon island. Xelial (minstrel) pops behind me, mezzes me and does some /daning beside me and awaits a shar ranger (Aliry) to pop. Minstrel stuns and both goes loco on me. PS, run off back toward the bridge hoping to maybe get friendly adds but they manage to kill me ofc and then go separate ways.

Just happened a few minutes ago and my natural question is; does this count as crossrealming/goes against the CoC?

Just wondering out of curiosity.

Aslong as they havent agreed to do that, like via irc, or something i don't think it's against the CoC. Think people will just say they chose not to kill each other and just add on each others fights.

I don't think people can get in trouble for this, if they just used emotes/ like surrender or /point to go kill another player.

But i have no idea TBH, was just a thought i had, but probably wrong. Athough i've never seen it happen before so i got no idea, and don't want to say definatly that this is a yes or no answer that it brakes the CoC.

i got suspended 7 days for doing something similiar, so yeah, it's against the ohso fucking great CoC

i can even give you the story!
i was running arround in thid, only enemies was a fg hibs wich were fair enough to duel 1 at a time. after a while a level 20 cleric with the name of one of the hibs(lets call him bob) came and talked to me. he was sitting on lan with one of the other hibs(the second hib can be john), and he asked if i would like to kill some mids with john and i did so. after a while zenythe talked to me and accused me for crossrealming, cheating and rp-farming, then i asked "if it's against the coc, why didnt you suspend the 2 fg mids and 2 fg hibs that were doing the same in molvik last week?" and she said that i were to be booted from the server.
i recived a mail from goa where it said i were to be suspended for 7 days, for cheating, crossrealming and rp-farming. and that it did not help to get naughty with the GM.

day after i talked to the two hibs on msn, cause they wondered if i would like to go to thid again. when i said i got suspended they seemed rather confused and said that zenythe had not even talked to them.

when i asked zenythe why i got suspended 7 days, and she didnt even talk to the hibs, she said there were no proof that they were involved.

so i kinda got suspended for beeing checked up by hibs(but they didnt really do it, i checked up myself!)


this prolly dont make any sense, but you can try to figure it out.

would love if Requiel could reply to this thread

How can you complain against the ban?
What you done is X-realming.. you discussed ingame to help the other realm whom clearly said they were from another realm. So clearly that was x-realming and the logs would prove it, your account should be banned for x-realming.

On the same note, the account that was used to talk to you (the one with alb/pryd 'bob'" on should also have been banned...

The account with the hib/pryd bob on however cant be directly linked by server logs to the agreement so would be left alone unless other proof was available (ip address maybe? but if on lan etc that wont help i spose)

If you had answered "No i want nothing to do with it" then there wouldnt have been a problem but you did agree to xrealm with the hibs via an ingame channel that could be traced rather easily.

Have some sense next time and dont do that, if you really have to x-realm with a friend you use outside game communication that cant be traced (msn, irc etc etc). But even that aint really advisable as no doubt if it happens alot they will take it as xrealming and who would blame them?

Oh, and insulting a GM really wont get the other GM's to come here and say "I agree with you, Zenythe was wrong"
