Yes, iknow the guy they did it too in RL, him and his mate (sitting next to him at the time). Both had a hard time not rolling of the chair from laughter...

Like mentioned earlier most in NP are definitely top players and actually majority of them seem to be nice people too, but also some of the biggest assholes I've ever met in daoc have been NP members... Seems I'm not the only who has received IRL threats/insults from them (it was from fons, he was playing someones alb character and I added on his stealther fight when soloing with my zerker, soon I got a long PM from someone in mid basically saying I got shit for brains and I should die IRL and my family too etc).

First l must say that I really think you guys a class better playing daoc then me not that says much thoe.

I see you getting ready for Wow pvp servers now, Xanatea spamming the forum for pvp server that all who plays alliance realm is going to suck and be no competition for NP squad.

Now to my question

If you want to compete in a computer game, why choose a rpg online game?

I seen you guys always complained about that people is no resistance on excalibur, and now you go to wow and will probebly do the same there.

If you play cs for example you will compete with people have same attitude towards game as you and same equipt.

So why choose a rpg for competion ?

It isnt like they are in it for the roleplaying. So why not choose a game with pure skill, no pve, no diffs in the use of items and/or classes.

NP has logged into Albion excalibur and made real life threats against an alb player (cant remember his name), because he was deliberately trying to work against their goal of gaining 1mil rp per character in a week per.

So would they be capable of running radar too, if it was needed to "win"?

Although personally I think they are bunch of arseholes, there is no questioning what they have achieved in DAoC. They were top of the food chain for as long as i can remember.

I never said that they should go play fps its there sub so the can do what they want, the part that makes me abit confused is that some of them complaining of the lack of good competition in daoc and now before it even started, the guilds on Alliance in wow.

People cant agree on what cheating is. So where ever you go, you will find yourself arguing against people who will think you are cheating. Im sure this will happen to you in WoW too.

WoW pvp is kinda similar to Camlann in many ways. Make XP as fast as you can, then go gank other people who are taking XP.

Just how do you imagine that you are ever going to get some fun out of that? As soon as everyone else gets in your level range you will get bored and quit?

It just doesn't compare to some other games either past or current, which is why the obsession some have of who're the most "skillfull" daoc players looks so silly when seen in that context (It's pretty anal in any game, but particularly so in this one). I still get nostalgic over original UO pvp - that was the best combination of knowledge combined with hand/eye co-ordination there's ever been (imho ofc ). No /stick,/assist, no uber styles, no overpowered classes - just your own abilities. And if you died chances were you'd also lose all your top notch equipment from having your corpse looted which added a real sense of risk when going in to a fight...none of this candyland /release and port back nonsense

Most skilled game is Quake 3. In that game u couldnt win nothing. But anyway we are talking about daoc and NP has shown best pvp in all servers from all over the world. Thats all

i think it was/is hldm or aghl... seen some of the best people pratically play with their eyes closed only using sound and hit and hl was alot more fun than q3 xD
