Question to all mids

which server are you mids going to use when SWG comes out in the US in what August ? i am going on the Eclipse server (kinda unofficial european one)

assume none of u are going to wait the extra 6 months + for the european release assuming there is one

i heard that u can make the chars on the yank servers and transfer them onto the euro ones when they come out

heard they are charging for moving your characters

tbh i wouldnt be surprised as theyre yanks but afaik my m8 has been wound up on this game for some reason and he thinks it will be a free service

I was just thinking of changing the game...

then I realised that there aint RvR on them,

basically this game is centered around to being good in RvR, well you can just have fun exping and getting better items but really... If it weren´t into RvR I wouldn´t be playing the game anymore, at least I feel like that.

The alternative would be that the game had some kind of other "Selectable" PvP thing at least, it really doesn´t interest me if i start a game as lev 1 and some ubah 1337 pwn H4><><0r player can come and take me out if he just feels like it... I like the idea of RvR much more,
ofc duels are another thing

Just saw a video of WoW... Really beatiful sunset and all...
And REALLY, REALLY ugly player models...

RvR let´s people who want to do PvP do it and those who don´t get turned on by rps can just do PvE and craft

THAT makes Daoc different, tell me if i´m Wrong.

One last thing...

it's not a new concept, just imo the best implementation of consenting pvp.

Wow will also have consenting pvp

Im not even gonna consider playing swg, nothing will keep me from focusing to be mentally rdy for WoW, imo blizzard could release empty box with their logo and "world of warcraft" and sell millions of copies, and there is a reason for this

I also manage to be in the army and play daoc. And i actually manage to Drill between daoc and real life. I think that is pretty good.

hehe WoW is a definate for me but you would be foolish not to try SwG considering how much time they have spent on it and money for that fact it also hosted by Sony with uber amount of servers and decent support team.

Humm maybe i was a lil too quick, i already have a rough template and about 30 odd people to start with on a server of thier choice. Will be abit of a nice change from daoc imo, which has lost its explorer factor along time ago for me
