which server are you mids going to use when SWG comes out in the US in what August ? i am going on the Eclipse server (kinda unofficial european one)

assume none of u are going to wait the extra 6 months + for the european release assuming there is one

cant really see SWG making it out over in europe till xmas at the earliest

Even then im guessing as the servers are in the US and will be bombarded with millions of star wars fans dressed up as wookies and princess leia it will have major lag forever

Atm i w8ing and hoping that SB is gona released in EU in next 2-3 weeks (maybe not ) but as far as i know SB > SWG ...... is already released in US and until xmas for SWG deffently is gona be in EU months b4.....

Pure GvG and PvP ....from a personal view i am impressed from SB...but disapointed from Swing ( the EU company which was responsible for released )

pure PvP will lead to a quick drop of players -> take the dreds and camalnn as example

You cant compare DAoC PvP with SB PvP. Or why are ppl still playing EQ and UO?

Sure I cannot, I only read about the big US tester guild which left SB beta last summer since the devs refused to listen to them and their bug reports.

On eof them returned and foudn out that NOTHING had changed and so they declared it as dead

City Sieging is nice and all, but the balancing sucks even more as in DAoC.

I only played JumpGate before DAoC and I must say atm only WoW could drag me away from it (since I know I will meet some real good friends there again).

I 100% that most 1-2 moths delay and SB will be in EU

And some EU players play in US servers already.....i am still in search for the best way to play it in US server....and i am confident that i ll find the way pretty soon

It is rather amusing to follow the discussions about how SB and SWG will kill DAOC, i rather doubt any of the 2 will cripple DAOC's playerbase.

I recon alot of ppl will try them, most of them will come back to DAOC preaching how SB/SWG each suck, and a small amount might stay with SB/SWG, and i also recon we're better off without the lot that stays in SB/SWG. getting rather tedious reading random apocalyptic-crier who preaches about DAOC's certain doom once SB/SWG gets here.

SWG aint due till september in EU, and most players i know will be getting the US version (difficult to do, but it can be done).

Game has been delayed too much now, too much hype, sod all delivered, those who really still wanna play will play the US servers, by the time the EU version comes out no-one will be interested.

Sad i know.

1. Did any1 said " I am w8ing for SB or SWG or whatever else and bye bye Doac" ? Nope

2. As u already notice ( i hope ) ONLY in Excali/Hib evry1 day peeps leave doac...this happens the last 2 weeks at least.......so imagine general in every server EU or US after 1year+ how many guys left.....

3. Daoc wont die as UO and AO and EQ didnt and wont in the next 5years at least......all these Online games are like circle of life....Old peeps leavin ......New peeps inc.....

4. Personal for me Daoc is one of the best games i ve ever played...UO was very good as well but u cant ressist what technology offers u.....

In the end i am still in Daoc....i dunno for how long.....I have some more goals to finish....But u dont know what Future brings to u

I am gonna stay in daoc til WoW at least, then i will deside what to play then, dont wanna play two MMORPG so gonna try WoW and if i like it i will drop DAoC, if not i would come back to DAoC.

Personaly i would like .Hack as a MMORPG, the events in that game would be weird but nice.
