Why do more than 2 people post down their download speeds? Not like anyone really cares about it

It's not the posters download speed that matters, it's more the upload speed of the server the file is hosted on.

If people are getting 20-30k/s then it's a slow server, people will know not to try downloading off it until someone with a faster connection can host, people reporting they get 100+k/s are actually saying (if you read the majority of the posts like that) that the server they are grabbing the file from is a nice host.
