Question on large raids

Are large raids possible, Galladoria, Sidi, TW, Legion, Dragons etc, or does everyone wipe each other out with aoe spells?

Guild members cannot harm one another iirc.

Guilds and alliances would be fine, But if you have 2 guilds in same place and none allied, They would hit each other with any Aoe spells.
