Question on crit heals

I was looking through some screenshots i'd taken last week and came upon one of them, a nice heal i'd managed on my druid thanks to a crit. At the time i hadn't really noticed but when looking at it again i noticed something odd.

Now, the heal i used (41 reg druid spec heal) heals for 822 without crit consistantly. Never higher, never lower.
So, how come, this 822 heal +439 crit added up to heal for 1481?
822+439 is 1261. Where did the other 220 come from?

Has anyone else noticed this? (was going to check other screenshots i had of crit heals, but i lost all my old screenies when my HD died a while ago)

If so, is there a rational explanation I'm missing.

No idea, but maybe the +rejuv is being applied on critheals too?

i get the same thing, my greater heal heals for 487 and i can crit for say 200... and heal the target for 900 overall, its very odd

maybe its the relics?

I think the amount shown as a crit is the 'delve' value of the crit.

So to get the actual value you x by 1.25 because it is a spec heal and then by 1.2 to take into account the power relics.

That ends up with the actual value the crit adds.

yeah noticed that long ago i heal up to 600 hp with shammy with good crits,when my heal is like 250 etc' dont have ss though.

I get this too, nothing to do with power relics

Crit works the same way as delve, the crit value is the crit of the delve.. Afterwards the modifiers are applied so take your delve + crit then multiply * 1.25 *1.20*(1.03*moh) and you have the actual value you heal for.

The pwr relics add to the healing capacity, how this is displayed, I dont know for sure. But this could very well be it.
