Right this is driving me mad. I like to think I know my films, but can't work this one out.

You know the song that's in the charts at the moment - Soldier Boy? not bad, but the music has a timpani/steel drum thing going on. It's very reminiscent of a soundtrack to a movie and I can't for the life of me think what it is. All I know is I liked it, and it's kind of cool (Christ I hope it doesn't turn out to be naff).

I sort of feel it may be a Tony Scott film with Denzel Washington, but that could be wishful thinking. I'm also getting Hawaian shirts, guns, cops. Almost a Miami Vice feel. Any suggestions?

Sounds a little bit like the commando music, without the vocals.

I haven't heard the song, but Denzel Washington + Hawaiian shirts + Florida = Out of Time.

You sure it's Denzel?

The music sounds like it could be True Romance with Scott, Slater and Hawaiian shirts.

Yeah its more True Romance than anything with Denzel in. Although the music in True Romance was used in another film, it had Dennis Leary and Sandra Bullock in and it was shite.

Man on Fire maybe, Denzel and Scott film.
