Question about MoC

Got a question about MoC.. and i would like those of u who know.. to tell me this.. when u r MOCing can u be mezed/stuned by spells? Some friends of mine say that moc gives u an imunity to mezz and castable stun only slam and other shield /weapon styles that include stun beeing able to stop MOC... I dont have MoC on my char ..so i ask those who have it to tell their opinion .. ty

sorry mate, but thats incorrect.
the chance beeing interrupted goes down by a certain percentage. dont ask me how much but besides the maths, i still get interrupted while using moc now and then and its a pain in the a**.

anyway with NF moc gets its final coffin nail with the damage decrease and vanishes into total unusefullness....

I just used it on a ranger that was pissing me off in odins, he shot me pbt burst popped moc and lifetapped away, its the only thing us albs have as 1-button for the win.

its only usefull if a straigh up caster or melee-er is hitting you, anything else and your stuffed.


MoC in NF would be ok for a mind sorc or something that doesn't do damage

like my pally for example - woo gogo ghetto res's

Heck m8..my friends are still sceptic bout this.. they asked on pridw/hib <they play there>.. and most of the casters from there said ..that when u moc.. u canot be mezed etc bla bla ..giving u a som type of imunity.. so i want as many answers as posible.. thats all .

Yes it makes them immune to melee.

i didnt try to answer your question, my reply was regarding frostor's comment about the 15 sec unintruptable....cause thats just not the case. it says "reduces chance to get interrupted by 100%", which doesnt mean you cant be interrupted at all. and i dont talk about mez or root or stun, just about "normal" interrupts.

i know that it wasnt an answer to your question, wasnt intended to be one, just a comment about something else :wub:

purple mobs in pvp or pve will brake mocers 100% uninterrupted 15 seconds...
so good minstrels (hi vivi) will piss on some hib caster with a pet and then their moc is kinda useless

MoC gives 100% chance to not be interrupted versus lvl 50 enemies and below. (except Amnesia/mez/stun)

The higher the enemy you fight, the less effective MoC is.

As said before moc is based on the lvl of your attacker.
vs. players you wont get interupted by any mele whatsoever.
vs. Mobs its start to suck allrdy when the mobs turn orange

You can get mezzed while moccing.
you can get stunned while moccing
you can be interupted by higher lvl pets
you can be interupted by amnesia

In short, get purge before moc or do as me forget both iwin every 30 min ra's and gets loads of passives

This is true in PvE when you are MoC:ing against mobs that are higher than level 50, but in RvR you will never get interrupted as long as you are 50 yourself. Of course, you can be stunned or mezzed and thus effectively interrupted, or you can be amnesia:d, which will cancel your current cast (but not invoke the interrupt timer).
