Question about ml7 grp steps

I see all raids for ml7 grp steps are always a particular grp setup, is it possible to do them with any sort of setup or has it got to be the "perfect" setup.
The reason why I'm asking is all the previous raids i've seen on fh are the same. A little unfair to those classes who are not req, I want to be able to try a raid where 1st come 1st served applies instead of a particular setup.
Is it feasable or will it fail?

Well in ML7 grp steps you need to kill lots of mob for 1 of the steps
(for faction) you can do it whit any setup but then it may take ages to do then. A 2 anis + fop/druid + pb + tank + bard and 2 free spots shuld do it easy but then agen its only 2 free spots
