I was wondering if anyone knew how much +buffbonus I need to cap buffs if I've got +11 augmentation, and vice versa how much + aug I need to cap if I've got 25% buffbonus. It's for a shaman with 46 aug. Thanks! :)

All buffs except dex/qui get capped, since your dex/cap is yellow with 46 aug. I'm 46/27 and my dex/qui is 3 from cap.

you need 25% for acuity buff

str/con & dex/qui (if red) you dont need more than 10% or smthing to cap

The only thing U need more than 10'ish for is pie and qui as they don't have a base buff.

Hence U can get capped str con and dex from bb but still not have capped pie or qui :)

Not true, the cap for buffs is not calculated for baseline+specline added together. Both have different caps.
Baseline: level*1.25 (62 at 50)
Specline: level*1.5*1.25 (93 at 50)

To add something on the original topic: +augmentation only helps when your effective augmentation spec (spec+skill+rr) is lower than the level of the spell. This means that it is useless for specline buffs and considering you're 46 aug I'd say it's worthless for your basebuffs as well.

If I recall correctly the formula was something along the lines of
(effective aug spec/spell level+1)*1.25*1.xx (xx=buffbonus).
I am not 100% certain on this formula, but I think it's about right..

Sorry if I was unclear ;)

What I wanted to say is for instance U get your str or con or dex capped with +25% to buff and yellow specs, but that wont cap your pie or qui with only yellow spec.

I don't get why you think you'd be able to cap dexterity without capping quickness as well, since the spec buff is shared.
Cap for dex from buffs is 155 (62 base + 93 spec)
Cap for qui from buffs is 93 (only spec)
Am I clearer now? It is impossible to cap dexterity without capping quickness as well, since the spec buff adds the same amount of dexterity as quickness.

You don't cap with yellow specs anyway, since the delves are 58 (dex-qui) and 57 (str-con). This means that with 25% buffbonus they'll buff for 90 and 89, which is 3 and 4 under the cap.

The red piety buff only gives 81 piety with 25ù buffing bonus, which is 12 under the cap. If a caster wants capped piety he'll need an item with piety buff charges (obtainable through alchemy) and 25% buffing effectiveness.
