All buffs except dex/qui get capped, since your dex/cap is yellow with 46 aug. I'm 46/27 and my dex/qui is 3 from cap.Himse said:just get 25% buffbonus. capped :x
He's still 46 augOlvoair said:you need 25% for acuity buff
str/con & dex/qui (if red) you dont need more than 10% or smthing to cap
Not true, the cap for buffs is not calculated for baseline+specline added together. Both have different caps.Bistrup666 said:The only thing U need more than 10'ish for is pie and qui as they don't have a base buff.
Hence U can get capped str con and dex from bb but still not have capped pie or qui![]()

Baseline: level*1.25 (62 at 50)
Specline: level*1.5*1.25 (93 at 50)
To add something on the original topic: +augmentation only helps when your effective augmentation spec (spec+skill+rr) is lower than the level of the spell. This means that it is useless for specline buffs and considering you're 46 aug I'd say it's worthless for your basebuffs as well.
If I recall correctly the formula was something along the lines of
(effective aug spec/spell level+1)*1.25*1.xx (xx=buffbonus).
I am not 100% certain on this formula, but I think it's about right..
