Hi,

Myself and 2 of my work mates have been "volunteerd" to do a 1day PAT testing course.

This is something that i do not wish to do, am just wondering if i have any right to refuse going on this course or am i stuck with doing it?

PAT testing is basically testing electrical gadgets for safety purposes.

And i'm not sure, you cant be fired for not going UNLESS the PAT testing bit is part of your job description.

If your in a union, ask them.

Go on it. Keeps you in the firm's good books. Its only 1 day. Just go. They're not asking you to spend 3 weeks cleaning out latrines in a Bombay lepper camp are they ?
