The current batch are all gone but there should be more up in the next week.

Just wish you had your own private pool of invites, but they're from a communal pool, so you have to be quick to get your invites done.

It's ok, I'm in no rush.

Looks like I got lucky with the latest batch of invites. Haven't been round here in ages, but used to play on barrysworld and wireplay servers back in the day. Remains to be seen if I can rekindle my skills now I'm an old git.

username swerv

added wij ok, but sar turns up more than 100 results. Can you add specific names to friends list or do you always have to search first?

Got mine ta!

Will have a look and see if this machine can run it, if not I'll have to lug my other machine from the other room in. Dunno when, but I'll have a look later and if it does run on this machine I'll no doubt set myself with the nickname Wazzerphuk.

I'm in! As Wazzerphuk. It runs on this internet machine, which I'm amazed by. Can't quite get my head around what iD have achieved in this, it's astonishing. Really shows what you can achieve when you're focused and don't rush things.

Sar: Any of the old lot on there I should add as friends? xpd, bop etc?

Um, only if you hadn't played in over 4 weeks.

Otherwise they kept your account. However all stats were wiped.

Doesn't matter anyway, it's in open beta now, so anyone can play!

Now it's open: who's on it? We should all befriend each other, or something gay like that.

Added throddy, a search for Yaka brings up too many results so you're not on the list. Perhaps you should search for me instead: I'm the only one of me. :D

I've really enjoyed playing this lately. It's amazing that they can make in run in a web broswer at 125fpa, remembering how people used to change thier configs to get thier pc to run at that speed back in the day :)

Also reminds me what a pure first person shooter should be, not much tactics (in ffa anyway) but pure reaction. Good fun :)

I love quake because it has such a massive learning curve. When you see games like CoDMW2 the difference between the pros and the noobs isn't really that big, but when you watch a pro playing quake it's just amazing :)
