BBC in Labour propaganda/support shocker.

Though they should have put someone forward to put that socialist wanker to bed.

Seems to me that it's the conlibsativerals who've been playing silly beggars here Raven.

But yep. Alastair Campbell is a tiny little cock who will pretty much say anything, 'cause he reports to no-one. Still - that's pretty weak

AC's problem isn't that he's unelected. QT regularly have panellists who are newspaper editors, journalists, authors and other "talking heads".
The problem is that he's a motormouth fuckhead who is almost as cut of from reality as Peter Mandelson. Yes you can tell I don't like the guy. :)

This picture typifies what I found wrong with Labour.
A small bunch of people, sat around an office, making big decisions on their own without consultation or advice.
GB - had no mandate to be Prime Minister by the public.
PM - strongly influential and wasn't elected by the public
AC - influential behind the scenes and was an "advisor".

I can see the government's point though; Campbell doesn't have to back up any promise or claim he makes, a minister, shadow-minister, or MP, does. Personally I'm for anything that denies that little shitweasel the oxygen of publicity, because I think the man is one of the worst things to happen to the country in 20 years.

The government may have a point but it's not a very good one....
If they want to dictate who goes on a political chat show then they are trying to attempt to control the media...and thats not a good thing

If they didn't want anyone on the panel just say so. Don't try and make demands like this as you come of looking like complete twats

Odd to criticise the government, when the Labour party wouldn't field a front-bench shadow minister.
