Lo, i can't get qizmo compression working, when i connect to a bw qimzo server and bak to a bw server i get higher pings and i can't up my rate and maxfps. Any idea's?

And i was looking at the list of qimzo servers bw has, 2 for udp and 2 for tcp, i presume i should use the tcp ones, but i can't connect to either of the 2 tcp servers, so again any idea's? (i'm 56k btw)

i have to set my maxfps at 30 cause i gets tons of pl once i raise it much, i'd like to have it at 50 so i can bunnyjump )

I'm sure HangTime will post a much more informative reply after this, but here's my bit...

U need to use the UDP ports. Either john.barrysworld.com:27500 or john.barrysworld.com:27501

I dunno what the hell the TCP ports are used for, perhaps someone can tell me

You can figure out your own way of automating things as u go along, but here's the basic manual way of gettin up and runnin...

. Run QW and Qizmo
. Type "connect localhost"
. Type ".connect john.barrysworld.com:27500"
. Make sure S2C compression is enabled on the BW Qizmo (it usually is by default)
. Select previous proxy from the BW Qizmo menu and enable C2S compression on your local proxy
. Type ",con whatevergameserver"

Thnks DaNig, it kinda workss, it seems smoother, but i can't up my maxfps or rate or i'll still get loads of pl.

Can anyone give me list of all the qizmo servers they know off?, cause i don't good connects to bw with the isp i'm using

you should only use tcp ports if udp is blocked due to firewall (not in ure case). when u r connected to the public qizmo type "ezcomp" which will ensure compression is enabled.

jpci/bw/wp qizmos should b best i would imagine, as netgames/gi have dodgy peerage. obviously if u play on those servers they should b best...
