You would be hard pushed to find anywhere nowadays that football isnt big. Sports are not hugely popular here but we do love to put on a show and one thing i know for sure people will be entertained when the time comes.

We were also at a cross roads in terms of the development plans for the country and this will seriously speed up development of Brand Qatar.

I clocked 63 degrees this summer gone (54 in the shade) All the staduims will be cooled. If they can build a ski slop in the UAE i am sure we can fix the heating problems.

TBH I think anyone would be able to host a better tournament than England. The Olympics will be a laughing stock & a national embarassment. England is the home of football hooliganism...could you imagine the world's football community turning up here, with happy international world supporters coming here for pre-match drinks to get their heads kicked in by drunken Arsenal / West Ham / Millwall fans.

Its going to be a piss poor World Cup there, not because of infrastructure problems or the host countries ability to host it (pay attention Russia) but because you can not play football in temperatures over 40c. The games will all be very slow, boring affairs which will do nothing for the supporters watching and the sponsors paying.
